Safe Work Method statement
A Safe Work Method statement (SWMS) sets out any high-risk construction work activities to be carried out at a workplace. This covers the hazards arising from these activities and the measures to be put in place to control the risks.
DPS maintain Safe Work Method statements covering all aspects of operations, both in the depot and on-site. We employ a dedicated Safety Manager who keeps all Safe Work Method statements up-to-date. Additionally, for bespoke projects our Safety Manager will write site specific SWMS.
Insurance
Whilst all requisite care is taken to achieve safe working conditions, insurance is necessary for the unforeseeable circumstances. DPS are properly insured for all aspects of operation and compliance. This includes;
- Worker’s Compensation insurance. Covering work related illnesses and injuries.
- Public and Products Liability insurance. Insuring 3rd party property damage or injuries.
- On Hook Liability insurance. Covers your property when we lift or transport with our cranes.
